Hidrocalcium

Hidrocalcium elevates the calcium hardness of the water, re-establishing the physio-chemical balance and preventing problems like tile corrosion, filters and accessories.

The level of calcium hardness recommended for pools is between 100 to 250 PPM, being tested and adjusted monthly using the Pooltest 4 in 1.

Levels above 250 PPM should be avoided due to the possibility of cloudiness and calcium incrustation of the pools borders, pipelines, equipment and heaters, compromising their efficiency, as well as contributing to the development of certain types of algae.

For levels of calcium hardness above recommended, reduce part of the water and replace it with new one.

WATER'S CHEMICAL BALANCE

The physio-chemical balance of your pools water is done by adjusting the pH, the Alkalinity and the Calcium Hardness. Proper balance turns the water more stable, thus reducing the amount of chemical products necessary for the treatment of the water as well as the proper maintenance of the equipment.

In a lot of cases, waters contain a low calcium hardness and must be balanced with Hidrocalcium.

1. Adjust the pH of the water between 7.2 and 7.6. The Alkalinity should be adjusted between 80 and 120 PPM. Add HidroCalcio until 100 to 250 PPM of Calcium Hardness is reached. To help with the measurements use the Pooltest 4 in 1. Every 15 grams of Calcium Hardness HidroCalcio per cubic meter of water elevates the Calcium Hardness in 10 PPM.
2. With the filter in the "FILTER" position, dissolute the product in a bucket of pool water and spread the solution over the pools surface. Maintain filtration running for 30 minutes for total product homogenization, and shortly after the pool is ready for use.
3. The following day, measure the alkalinity with bicarbonate of the water. If the level is not at the recommended point of 80 to 120 PPM, make the correction with HidroAll's HIDRO pH Stable or HIDRO pH-.

• Inform responsible environmental protection agency in case of accident
• Do not inhale

IN CASE OF ACCIDENT

In case of contact with the eyes or skin, wash with clean running water abundantly. In case of inhalation, do not induce vomiting and consult immediately a Toxicology Central (for more info call 911) or a doctor taking along the products package. If inhaled in excess, remove the victim to a ventilated area and call 911.
